Halfway Point: Current Goals
Night Plight » Devlog
So, as I have stated before, Night Plight is my senior thesis/capstone for my animation degree - I am officially at the halfway point before my final project is due, and I am very proud of the milestones I've reached thus far. However, that doesn't mean I don't have a long way to go. As of now, here are my immediately goals on what I want to complete and accomplish:
- Give the Cain model hair, and then retopologize and retexture it.
- Go back and finish white boxing the game
- Plan out intended routes more thoroughly - try to get a few play testers during this stage
- Texture remaining textured elements post white-box
- Implement additional animations - pushing, jumping from high item, crouching, crawling, etc.
- Update the UI with custom art
- Rig and animate the cat
- Insert custom audio - sound effects and background music.
- Fix remaining gameplay bugs
- Add more fairy lights to the scene - adjust so they light up important gameplay areas.
There will doubtlessly be more tasks for me to complete after finishing these, but this list is my priority in the next couple months.
